I wasn't sure how durable these would be, but after a week of daily “meal prep” they still look brand new. The pieces are chunky enough for little hands to grip, and watching my son sort the veggies has actually helped his hand-eye coordination.
The wooden pieces are the perfect size for my daughter's little hands, and she loves sorting them into piles before "chopping" them for her soup. It's been a week and she still picks these over her tablet every afternoon.
My toddler has been "cooking" me dinner every night since these arrived, and the pretend-play detail is spot on. Watching her grip and pass the pieces has honestly improved her coordination faster than I expected.
