The silicone is soft enough for my teething toddler to gnaw on between bites, but the handle still holds up to her death grip. She actually managed to scoop yogurt on her own this morning, which felt like a small miracle for a 10-month-old.

Our one-year-old figured out how to scoop yogurt all by himself on the third try, and the silicone tip is soft enough that I don't worry when he chews on it. The curve of the handle sits really nicely in his chubby fist, and it's held up to daily dishwasher runs without any warping.
